Over the weekend of February 4th, 2026, the Friends of Israel Project proudly hosted our inaugural Jewish Cultural Day at the Santa Fe State Capitol which brought together over 20 Jewish organizations, congregations, and community groups to celebrate vibrant Jewish heritage, diversity, music, kosher food, and meaningful conversations.
From info tables highlighting Jewish contributions to New Mexico's rich history (dating back centuries with deep roots in culture, economy, and community service) to speakers that included rabbis, local Jewish leaders and state senators, the event was a beautiful bridge-builder between the Jewish and non-Jewish community.
Even in times of differing views, moments like these cultivate understanding, empathy, and solidarity, proving we can come together to honor shared values and combat hate. We're thrilled to create spaces that strengthen ties and inspire lasting peace.
Thank you to everyone who joined us! Let's keep building these bridges! Scroll through the images below to see a snapshot of this special event➡️
